Warranties

A one year limited warranty applies to all starters and alternators sold, like our marine starters and alternators and John Deere aftermarket parts, unless otherwise stated. We warrant all parts to be free from factory defects in workmanship and materials. This covers the replacement or repair of the defective items within the original warranty period and is limited to the original purchaser.

This warranty does not cover failures on the part of the purchaser. These failures include normal or excessive wear and tear, abuse, misuse, improper installation, and modifications of starters and alternators. It also specifically does not cover water damage, broken housings or broken components. If an exchange for a broken component is approved, a replacement part will only be sent out after the defective item has been returned to us. The cost of installation and removal is not included in the warranty. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs associated with obtaining a warranty or return.
